Review by hotel critic
Tucked away in the picturesque New Forest, the White Buck Inn is a charming escape that exceeded my expectations! From the moment we stepped inside, the warm welcome made us feel right at home. The comfy rooms are well-appointed with fluffy towels, luxury toiletries, and some delightful extras like a Nespresso machine for that perfect morning pick-me-up. Our king-sized bed felt like a dream after a day of exploring; I didn’t want to get up! Now let’s talk about food—oh my, the menu! With local delicacies like New Forest venison carpaccio and the scrumptious Owton's game faggots, every meal was a delight. Julie and Dawn from the front of house were fabulous, running an efficient service with unyielding cheerfulness that brightened our breakfast experience. Their knack for anticipating our needs felt like luxury! And let’s not overlook the pet-friendly vibe; though we didn’t have our dogs with us this time, I loved seeing so many pups around—it's a great spot for those traveling with furry companions. it’s an idyllic base to relax while appreciating everything this beautiful corner of England has to offer!
